National Book Week is an important South African initiative to teach all ages the value of reading.

Each year the entire team at Valmary Park Pre-Primary School, have loads of fun celebrating this week.

From a Pajama Party, to Wearing a Funky Hat, our kiddos create, learn and play at the same time.

During this week we took hands with Bargain Books Durbanville with a one-of-a-kind Book Sale hosted at our school.

We concluded the week by dressing up as our favourite book character.
